Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Jason Littlefield started his professional music career at age twelve, performing with local symphonies and bluegrass bands. During his High School years, he received a music scholarship to attend Ball State University and studied classical doublebass with Hans Sturm and jazz with Larry McWilliams and Frank Puzzullo, seasoned veterans of the music business. By the age of 22 he was the bassist for the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra.

Since relocating to Southern California, Jason performs 200+ gigs annually with countless bands and ensembles, taking him to such places as France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, and almost every state in the U.S.
